Well, we have some curious news to share. It seems that we're going to be doing a little bit of time — behind bars. Let that sink in for a minute — the PBS team, locked up, in the slammer — unthinkable! We're sure you want to know what we've done to wind up in this predicament. Well, here's the whole truth: we're going "behind bars" to help defeat life-threatening muscle disease. The 2015 MDA Lock-up of St. Joe County takes place on 07/22/2015, but we're raising my bail before we go to jail!
The critical dollars raised will support MDA's lifesaving mission to save and improve the lives of people fighting muscle disease.
Together, we will:
- Fund treatments and cures
- Provide life-enhancing programs like state-of-the-art clinics and support groups; and
- Send kids like Rachel (who we are sponsoring) with muscle disease to MDA summer camp, where they'll enjoy "the best week of the year," having fun while gaining confidence and independence.
We need your help! Please support PBS in this important mission by making a tax-deductible donation. Your gift will speed MDA's progress in muscle disease research and care, and make a difference to children and adults living with muscle disease right here in our community.
